Now you're getting it. Theft doesn't have an expiration date. Land stolen and crimes committed hundreds of years ago don't become okay simply because a lot of time has passed. Especially when those crimes shape the world we live in today. All settler colonies, no matter how old they are, owe their victims compensation and restorative justice. You speak of my American identity as if my people (Black people) control any significant amount of wealth here. We're owed reparations from the United States as are the Native Americans (as does Canada/Australia to their affected populations). This should be in the form of land, grants, resources, and direct cash payments to the descendants of all colonized peoples. Hope this helps.
